Ahmed Mansour is an Egyptian journalist, born on 16 July 1962writer, television broadcaster, and interviewer who has been a part of Al Jazeera since 1997. He is one of the well-known journalists for Al Jazeera.
Ahmed Mansour ‘without Borders’
Since 1999, he has hosted Bela Hodod, an Arabic live television talk show from Cairo that airs on the Al Jazeera Channel once a week. Bela Hodod is Arabic for “without borders.” In addition, he hosts the show Shahed Ala Al-Asr. He released Inside Fallujah: the Unembedded Story in 2009.

Mansour was born in Samound, Egypt. He attended Mansoura University where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. German government arrested Mansour making him spend 48hours in custody. He was arrested at the request of the Egyptian court amid boarding a flight to Doha.

Ahmed Mansour court Charges /sentence
Cairo’s criminal court with torturing a lawyer in Tahrir Square in 2011 charged Mansour in August 2014. Mansour denied the charges. Al Jazeera also claimed they were untrue.
Unfortunately, Mansour received a 15-year prison term after being found guilty in absentia in October. Al-Jazeera criticized the decision as unfair and an attempt to intimidate journalists.
Interpol declined to appoint a warrant Mansour
At the request of the Egyptian government, German police detained Mansour at Berlin Tegel Airport on June 20, 2015, sparking protests there until they released him.
