Antony Blinken is the current US secretary for the Whitehouse. He played a key role in advising Joe Biden during the 2008 presidential campaign later, he worked on the Obama-Biden presidential transition. Since January 26, 2021, American diplomat and government official Antony John Blinken has held the position of secretary of state for the country.
While working from 2002 to 2008 as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In the past, he worked for President Barack Obama as the deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and the deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017.

Blinken openly forewarned on February 11 about the possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine before the conclusion of the 2022 Winter Olympics. On February 13, Blinken stated that it was “the appropriate thing to do” to evacuate the majority of the personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv because the possibility of invasion was “great enough” and the threat was “imminent enough.”
