She later met with Tim Gardam who was then the editor of the BBC Paranoma at a wedding. Tim went on to give her a job as a researcher in the program. She has been excelling well in the media industry for over 30 years.

She was one of the nine women featured in the programme dubbed What’s it going to Take? which was a charity campaign projected at Women’s Aid. Being a woman, Bruce once said that she believes in feminism and has since committed herself to it. She pointed out her disappointment in women who nit did not like to work with other women.
