Heather Anderson joined ESPN from The Walt Disney Company, where she started in 2013 as associate principal counsel specializing in digital media, products, and technology. She progressed to becoming vice president and assistant chief counsel, leading a team that provided support for various products such as mobile apps, websites, video games, and virtual reality experiences. Her role involved assisting the DMED Technology teams in areas such as consumer experiences, platforms, design, studio technology, and studio operations.
Anderson was responsible for overseeing 150 digital products, including apps and websites for ABC, ABC News, ESPN, FX, Freeform, National Geographic, DisneyNow, Disney.com, Starwars.com, Disney+, and Hulu. Additionally, she served as a Disney TV and short-form production attorney.
