In addition to her comedy work, she has also written for TV shows like The Rundown with Robin Thede and NBC’s Sunnyside. Edebiri recently became a writer for Big Mouth’s fourth season. Jenny Slate decided to stop voicing the character Missy so that a Black actress could play the role. Edebiri auditioned and was chosen to take over the role in August 2020.
