Brad Plumer is an American journalist and author who writes for The New York Times. He was born in 1977, in Portsmouth, Virginia and grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father was a teacher and his mother was a school counsellor. In college, he studied history at Ball State University before going on to get his master’s degree at Indiana University’s School of Journalism & Mass Communication (JMC). His full name is Bradley Plumer.
