Other presidents have also been injured through assassination attempts, such as Ronald Reagan. in 1981, presidents Theodore Roosevelt 1912, the attempt, which was done by John Shrank. On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump also survived an assassination by Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Many leaders across the world have condemned the incident, including Xi Jinping and Biden, who said”No place in America for this” António Guterres also termed the shooting as an act of political violence. Some of close allies have also shared their messages on the same issue terming it as an attempt to American democracy.
