Career

Thompson began her career at Sky Sports, where she worked as a presenter and reporter for several years. She covered major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics. Later, she joined BBC Radio 5 Live, where she co-hosted “Thursday Night Club” and contributed to their sports coverage.

After finishing school, Thompson got a job as a helper for a project at GMTV and later switched to Sky Sports in January 2001. Thompson has reported on big sports events for the network since then, like the US Open Tennis and has been part of Sky’s coverage of several other races and championships.
