Guy Adami joined CNBC’s Fast Money at the beginning. North Tarrytown, New York, is where he was born (now known as Sleepy Hollow).
Guy has had several prominent executive roles in the financial services industry. After joining Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1986, he quickly rose to the position of vice president and head of the company’s gold trading.
Furthermore, he was the company’s top gold trader when he joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 as one of few proprietary traders in the Fixed Income Currency and Commodities business. In the spring of 2000, Adami started working for Goldman Sachs’ U.S. Equities division after being assigned the division’s Industrial/Basic Material division.
