Michelle Beisner-Buck Biography

Michelle Beisner-Buck is an American journalist and commentator working for ESPN as NFL commentator. Beisner joined ESPN as NFL features reporter in 2014. She has been very creative and now her player profiles as well as other NFL stories now appear on both Sunday NFL countdown and on Monday night Countdown.

Career

Beisner-Buck used to be an actress and dancer before working in television. She was a Denver Broncos cheerleader from 1997 through 2003. Beisner-Buck was a captain for four of her six years with The Broncos Cheerleaders, and she was a Pro Bowl selection in 1999.

Beisner-Buck formerly had a role on ESPN as the co-host of “The Russo and Steele Automotive Auctions” and as a pit reporter for the Champ Car World Series. Additionally, she has worked for Fox Sports, CBS, NBC, Speed Channel, and other networks in a variety of reporting and hosting positions. This defines her as one of the most experienced sports commentator at ESPN.

She got interviews with coaches and players throughout the course of her many years of field reporting, including Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Pete Carroll, Peyton Manning, Ray Lewis, John Elway, Robert Griffin III, and Adrian Peterson. Following his successful aortic valve replacement surgery, Denver Broncos head coach John Fox granted an exclusive sit-down interview to Beisner-Buck in 2013.

Beisner-Buck served as an NFL Network studio anchor and field reporter from 2006 to 2014 before joining ESPN. She was a guest on a number of specials and shows, such as Game Day First, Game Day Morning, NFL Total Access, and NFL Fantasy Live.

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Guthrie Award was given to her in 2018 for one of her most well-known stories, which focused on the late Bill Johnston and his wife Ramona, the former Chargers public relations director.

Beisner-Buck has also produced humorous features on the Seahawks wide receivers group’s choreographed end-zone celebrations, the 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel’s nickname origin story in “Here Comes Deebo,” which featured rap icon Ice Cube, and Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp’s account of how he learned to “toe-tap the sidelines” at home with his father.
