Zelensky graduated from the Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in law in 2000. Later, he pursued an additional degree in international law at the same institution.

Career

Zelensky rose to fame with his role as President Vasyl Holoborodko in the popular Ukrainian TV series Servant of the People in 2015. He played the same character in the 2018 film of the same name.
In April 2019, Zelensky announced his candidacy for the Ukrainian presidency. He won the election by a landslide, becoming the youngest president in Ukrainian history at the age of 41. He was inaugurated on May 20, 2019.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a clear stance and issued a statement regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In his address on February 24, 2022, President Zelensky condemned Russia’s military aggression, called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council, and appealed for international support and solidarity.
