Prince William, Duke of Wales, is a member of the British royal family. Born on June 21, 1982, he is the elder son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana. William is second in line to the throne, following his father.
He was given the title Duke of Cambridge in 2011 upon his marriage to Catherine Middleton. As of 2023, he became the Duke of Wales following his father’s accession to the throne.
