James Dagwell was born in 1974 in Beckenham, Kent in U.K. Dagwell is a British journalist and a television producer In the U.K media industry. He spent his childhood in Kent before moving to North Devon. Later, he moved to East Sussex where he started school.

Dagwell joined a community college(Beacon) located in Crowborough, East Sussex. He proceeded to join Royal Holloway College, the University of London where he graduated with a Bachellors degree in English and Theatre studies.
Dagwell Career Journey.
He began his career with GMTV as a news desk assistant. He started climbing the ladder and became the first UK video journalist for a cable news station located in London in 1997. This career journey made him work for ITV West as a news reporter in Plymouth, Devon in 1998.
BBC Career
James Dagwell is a British journalist born in 1974 in Beckenham, Kent in the UK. He joined BBC News in 2000 as a producer for a program called News round. He then moved to BBC three in 2003 as a reporter where they launched The 7 O’clock News. In 2006 Dagwell was made the news presenter for the 60seconds program on BBC Three for around two years. Things worked for Dagwell and he managed to make another step of becoming a News presenter for BBC World in 2008. He took a position on BBC News was Simulcast overnight. He hosted his own designed entertainment show named E24 on BBC News and BBC World News during the weekend. During the E24 entertainment time, he covered films, music, theatre, and arts.
In 2011 Dagwell took a sabbatical leave that saw him return as a senior producer for BBC News on BBC One. This is where he leads the 8 pm news bulletin. In 2016 he joined BBC world service as a senior producer. This is the time he delivered the most interesting news and was watched by millions of people around the world.
