Laila Al Shaikh is an Iraqi news anchor for Aljazeera Tv, she was born in 1965 in Baghdad. Her father is an Iraqi while her mother is a Danish international. Shaikh was raised in Saudi Arabia. Later her parents took her to England where she was educated. She joined the University of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
