 Veronica Guerin is a fearless Irish investigative journalist.
She was 36 when she was killed by drug lords in 1996.
She served as the inspiration for two films,
 including one with Cate Blanchet, a memoir, and a number of songs.
Guerin is a Sunday Independent writer known for her exposés of Dublin’s crime lords, has faced several death threats and has even been shot in the leg. She continued reporting, though, unmoved.
